Kottarashky - “grandpa hey!”
Release: 11/13/2009
Tracks: 12
Label: Asphalt tango
Style: The Balkans / Bulgaria / folk
Kottarashky from Bulgaria, the attentive Ostblog reader long since famously (video of the week 02/09), his debut album has published.
Him is to be called musician maybe not enough, rather he is a collage artist whose samples pile up to an accumulator table Merzbau in which the listener is invited friendly. The building material works like an archive of all possible sound springs and noise springs of Bulgaria. Between sea and town, East and Occident, 20th and 21st century he creates a new sphere from old material. From melancholy became joy and this is nicely to be heard.
The Ostblog awards 6 of 7 possible stars
